Our certifications

Satinox Assemblage management system initially obtained AS/EN/JISQ 9120 and ISO 9001 certification in November 2005. On Tuesday, 14th October 2008, Satinox Assemblage was given the score of 98.5/100 following the Bureau Veritas audit to update the EN 9120 certification. Quality is Satinox Assemblage’s key focus. We seek, maintain and constantly endeavour improve quality throughout our operations.

AS EN JISQ 9120:2006

EN 9120 is a development of ISO 9001 specific to the Aeronautic sector. Its provisions were complied on the initiative of one of the largest companies in the sector and focus on safety, quality and Aeronautic technologies, throughout the supply chain. In practise, EN 9120 repeats each point from ISO 9001 and adds extra requirements specific to the Aeronautic and Aerospace industries. Satinox Assemblage was given the score of 98.5/100 following the latest certification update.

ISO 9001:2000

Satinox Assemblage regards ISO 9001 as the base standard (together with AS/EN/JISQ 9120) which can validate part of our QMS. The standard indicates the following:

we have a Quality Management System (QMS)
we are qualified to supply products which meet our customers’ demands and regulatory requirements.
we have set up a quality continuous improvement procedure, notably for resource management, services and management, which involves all members of staff.

Quality audits by customer

In addition to quality certification audits, Satinox Assemblage also accepts (and uses) third party quality audits as part of its customers’ internal systems to improve its QMS. For example, in October 2008, a "supplier’s logistic and industrial assessment" carried out by SAGEM Défense Sécurité awarded Satinox Assemblage the overall score of 99/100.
