All productions and reproductions of old parts
Certain fastening elements are made with the help of reproduction machining. This is the case for rare or old products, which are no longer manufactured and need to be made-to-measure, individually or in small batches, from sketches or other fastenings with similar characteristics. Satinox Assemblage can carry out these reproductions with plans and in collaboration with your engineering department.

High quality: welding nuts
High quality mechanical fastenings with highly precise dimensions are generally manufactured through hot work-hardening, precision stamping or cold heading. Satinox Assemblage generally prefers these techniques which treat the fibrous structure of the metal better and by which final products have better finishing than cut items. For example, rolling and knurling operations allows grooves and pointing without removing the material.
Reproduction machining
Due to careful partner selection, over 30 years experience and deep knowledge of precision applications, Satinox Assemblage can take care of all reproductions. All fastenings can be made, notably from sketches or other fastenings with similar characteristics, fully conform to the original standard.

Traceability: marking reproductions
For Satinox Assemblage as for its customers, item traceability is a vital quality and security improvement. Each fastening element which has a large enough diameter can be permanently or indelibly marked, individually or in large volumes, by ink jet, mechanical engraving, micro-percussion, scoring, laser, hot or cold forging. All materials can be marked, including the hardest steels.
