Regarding our ship-to-stock or ship-to-line services, the packaging must be immediately operational for the production line. Satinox Assemblage can take care of your packaging for requirements in relation to :

  • Pre-assembly of several items
  • Bagging (e.g. crystal, opaque, closed, anti-static sachets etc.)
  • Identification labelling, for traceability or information (bar code 28, EAN13, EAN13, RFID, QR code)
  • Kitting: several components in the same package

You handling is reduced to the strict minimum, the fastenings are delivered ready-for-use.

As a standard service, each Satinox Assemblage product is delivered with a 128 bar code label which includes all necessary information required for traceability.

Individual storage is available to our customers that is set up with customised organisation and restocking procedures:

  • Regarding JIT supply contracts, inventories are generally conducted under Kanban and managed very accurately based on electronic EDI XML communication with the company. Storage space is therefore limited to the minimum necessary and the delivered quantities under JIT may automatically vary depending on ordered volume.
  • Regarding guaranteed ongoing supply contracts for fixed quantities at regular intervals, the double unit method sets off an automatic order each time the main unit is empty and keeps products available in the reserve unit for the duration of the delivery.

  • Basic deliveries: products complying with ordered quality are delivered to one address.
  • Multi-site deliveries: products from the same production and same order are delivered to several addresses.
  • Ship-to-stock deliveries: products are delivered packed in their storage format without any internal intervention necessary. You save time and labour.
  • Ship-to-line deliveries: products are delivered packed in formats for immediate assembly line use. They are not intended for storage and are delivered JIT, according to your requirements or schedule.

Ship-to-line is the most precise delivery procedure as it economises storage space, finance tied up in inventory and handling labour. Each customised kit of Satinox Assemblage fixing elements that arrives on your assembly chain at the required time and in the required quantities is the direct result of quality controls throughout all the previous operations. It justifies and adds value through electronic communication with your information system, subcontracted quality control of parts, customised packaging operations including kitting and external Kanban inventory management.
